The correct method of replacing the spark plug




The problem of starting difficulties often occurs in winter, which may be due to the lack of battery power; on the other hand, it is possible that the fuel supply system is abnormal.

However, the most neglected problem is the abnormality of the spark plug. The breakdown of the spark plug or the abnormal electrode will have a great effect on the starting and even the normal use of the vehicle. Therefore, it is necessary for us to know how to replace the spark plug so as to prepare for it.



In the cold car condition, open the engine hatch cover and determine the position of the spark plug. Before replacing the spark plug, it is necessary to ensure that the engine hatch cover is fixed firmly. Then remove the engine trim panel and remove the fastening screws on the ignition coil.







Next, we need to disconnect the connector on the ignition coil and pull out all the ignition coils separately. Then use the spark plug to remove the special tool from the cylinder head and remove all the spark plugs. If it is loosened, the old spark plug can be sucked out with a suction bar.





After that, simply add the new spark plug into the cylinder head and screw it up according to the specified torque. It should be noted that when assembling spark plugs, be careful not to tighten too tightly or too loosely. Too tight can easily lead to spark plug fracture or cylinder head damage; too loose will lead to spark plug leakage, resulting in poor ignition.
The replacement of spark plugs requires some skill, so it is not recommended to operate the car owner. If the spark plug is broken in the cylinder cover due to improper operation, it will be a very troublesome thing. So the inspection or replacement of the spark plug needs to be entered by a professional maintenance enterprise or 4S store.
